Types of Funds / Organizational

Organizational funds are established by nonprofit organizations to generate annual grants for their own uses.

The Feldman Chamber Music Society, Beach Health Clinic, ForKids Inc., Hope House Foundation, Rotary Club of Norfolk, Sugar Plum Baker, United Way of South Hampton Roads and the Virginia Arts Festival are among more than 40 nonprofit organizations whose funds we invest and manage.

Hope House Foundation
In 1964 a group of parents with adult children with disabilities created the Hope House Foundation to provide them with a place to live. Over the decades Hope House has specialized in providing homes and services that enable adults to live as independently as possible. In 2002 Hope House created an endowment with the Foundation to provide "for the long-term financial health of the organization," says Lynn Seagle, Hope House president. Every year since then Hope House has received grants to help in its work with its clients.
