Lynne and Steve Winter of Virginia Beach value the connections the Community Leadership Partners give them. Through the Partners, the co-owners of Edgewater Asset Management have learned about community issues, studied the work of nonprofits up close, met the recipients being helped by organizations and had fun getting to know like-minded people who also care deeply about their community.
Going on site visits to area nonprofits and participating in Partner education programs give Lynne and Steve insight into problems and the organizations working to resolve them in partnership with philanthropists. Pooling their donations with others amplifies the impact the couple has to improve life in Hampton Roads.
