For more than a decade, the Hampton Roads Community Foundation has focused on regional economic competitiveness.

In 2019, the Hampton Roads Community Foundation in partnership with the Hampton Roads Workforce Council commissioned a study focused on the gaps between skills employers in Hampton Roads need and skills our available workforce possesses. These three reports, along with an appendix, explain the challenges and reveal strategies to address the problems.
