RECAP: Black Philanthropy Month Celebration

In August 2020, The Hampton Roads Community Foundation hosted its Third Annual Black Philanthropy Month Celebration.

This program explored the powerful intersection of sports and philanthropy. It featured three athletes-turned-philanthropists including Dr. Myron Rolle, Aaron Rouse and Don Carey. All are former NFL players who have established charitable foundations. They use their platforms to uplift their communities in unique and important ways.
