Unmasking Peninsula Examines Race- and Gender-based Trauma

How does race- and gender-based trauma impact local Communities of Color? Those topics and more were discussed during the recent Unmasking Peninsula event, a virtual dialogue and workshop series presented by Hampton University political science professor Dr. Sarita McCoy Gregory and writer/series co-creator Samantha Willis, in partnership with the Hampton Roads Community Foundation.
The series included expert panels, counseling agencies teen groups and a film screening.
