Linda M. Rice
Vice President for Grantmaking
Linda M. Rice, Ph.D., is vice president for grantmaking. Prior to joining the staff in 2012, she was provost of the Chesapeake Campus of Tidewater Community College. She previously was the founding vice president for workforce development at TCC and served as the inaugural dean of health professions at the college’s Virginia Beach Campus. She also served as special assistant to the president for military affairs and community outreach at TCC. She earned an undergraduate degree in biology/psychology from Randolph Macon Woman’s College and both a master’s degree in education and a doctoral degree in urban studies from Old Dominion University.
